You Promised
The dealership still has not received my transmission, but after 5 days, I'll have to pay $35/day for the car I am driving. Today is day 3.
I inquired online and was told that sometimes it can take months to receive a transmission once the dealership orders it.
Sigh.
I don't have months.
All of my plans for the future are on hold until I can get my car back.
I talked to a lawyer and there is nothing I can do right now.
I'm just going to go with it. If I keep doing as well as I did yesterday, I should be okay. But, it's still going to be a struggle at the 1st of the month until I get some bills paid off.
I just need to trust that God has this, too. He knows what He is doing, and I'm going to take the opportunity to learn more. I can rationalize it all I want to, but Jesus didn't come to change the law, He came to fulfill it. So, I still need to follow the law as best I can, and trust that Jesus has my back on the rest. God will know my heart and my intentions. That is what is important.
Lord, You know all things.
I can only trust it is in my best interest at this point. Maybe it is for someone who needs to see me go through this. Either way, I'm going through it with You.
I'm frustrated, right now. But I am determined to be patient in spite of it.
Today is the Sabbath, and I am attempting to honor You in it by following Your law of rest, in spite of needing the money and not knowing what tomorrow will bring.
Jesus said not to worry about that, so I'm not going to. I'm going to seek the Your Kingdom first. I know You will take care of the rest.
Help me to be patient and provide for me that I may not have to ask others for assistance. Help me to forgive those who don't understand and judge me through all this for the decisions I make concerning my desire to follow You in every way.
Please keep opening doors. You have blessed me so much, especially in my time of need.
You are in control. The wheel is Yours.
Thank You, Lord, for being You, and giving me hope through Your son, my Savior.
In Jesus's Holy Name, I pray, Amen.
