Work, Savings and Investments
Hello, World!
I woke up at 3 PM today. I am now getting ready to start my day working.
The dogs are in their room (the bathroom, complete with a warm blanket to lay on and food). They are getting used to that. I will tell them, "Time to go to your room...momma has to go to work!" And they go. Although, sometimes, Milo would rather stay on the bed in MY room, and I have to pick him up and carry him as he sighs about it.
I am updating all my apps in my phone as I write this, so I will be up-to-date and can hit the ground running.
I have to make $150/day for the next 9 days in order to pay all my bills on time up to the 1st of the month. So, I won't be scrolling Facebook much, unless I am twiddling my fingers bored...which I am hoping I won't have time to be, because I will be working ALL my apps until goal is reached.
I only get paid once every two weeks at the Call Center. So, I am not counting that toward my goal. But, I will be working it tonight until it is time for me to go to bed once I make my goal as a driver. My first pay won't arrive until around the 16th of next month.
Someone asked me what I sell. I don't sell any one product. I work for a national call center. I do remote customer service work, by answering calls for products, such as the stuff you see on infomercials at night on TV...and a lot of other companies who need people to answer the phones after hours and direct calls accordingly. Sometimes I get information from the customer and just have the company call them back. Sometimes I sign them up for credit cards or Netspend cards, stuff like that. There is no telling what kind of call I am going to receive when I log on. The call center I work for works with LOTS of different companies this way. Anyway, I sell whatever they want to buy when they call. When they call, a script will pop up on my screen about the product they are calling about and I just read it to them and take their information. At the end of the day, I submit my invoices to the company so they can pay me.
I can work when I want to, thank God! Because I need every penny I can make right now.
My pay will go directly to my E-trade checking account. That way it can be treated by me as a paycheck from that account, because I also get Doordash, Waitr and Spark money transferred to that account.
I have set up my ALLY card to automatically have $5.00 a month transferred onto it so that I can use that card as a savings account, and to invest in Crypto.
My CashApp is slowly growing as people tip me through it occasionally. I also make investments there. I am also using that account as a savings account.
Well, it is time to go to work.
Have a blessed day!

See AllFor some reason, it was especially slow last night until early this morning. I did manage to make a $100 deposit, though. Not NEAR what I need for rent. I now have $250 of the $690 I need. I don't see
