Hello, I'm Shonda Ponder. I am a self-employed courier and taxi driver.

I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

I look forward to communicating with you all!

Time to Just Breathe

Good Friday night, World!

Yesterday, I went to Shreveport. I got there about 4:30, and didn't make near what I wanted to make, and then I spent some of it at the Horseshoe Casino - not much though, I was very self-controlled. LOL. Besides, I have a car payment to make tomorrow.

Today, I slept later than I wanted to. Guess I was tired. But, I got up and went to work and worked until nearly midnight. I RAN all night. But, Waitr doesn't pay me as much as Uber does...and Uber was VERY SLOW tonight. I made goal though.

And, my car payment is made.

Tomorrow is the Sabbath. I'm not even going to look at my phone. I'm going to spend the day surfing traffic exchanges, and playing FALLOUT: NV and Sim City. I'm going to relax.

I'm glad I got my Uber back, but even without it, I've already made $400 over what I made as a cook in a month.

I've also decided to stay in Texarkana from now on - not that I can't do better in Shreveport if I get an early enough start, but because it is close to home, I know the area, and it is a LOT less stressful...at least until I get some debts paid off and can relax more when I travel. Besides, as long as I am making my goal, there is really no need to go anywhere.

I'll save the travelling for times when I get frustrated enough to want to "run away".

I still have to go pick up my son in Austin, soon, though.

I've never worked a graveyard shift as a courier. I might try that soon.

Ya'll have a blessed weekend!
