Some May Trust in Chariots
I woke up at 10:00 AM and fixed pancakes and smoked sausage.
Yesterday, I got a call from the dealership saying the job was bigger than anticipated, and that it would probably be Monday before the car was ready.
So I went to pick up another rental.
I only owe $241 for the rental now. I need $351 by Monday for bills and car rental. I need to try to make $175 each day today and Sunday.
I didn't work a full day today because I was late getting started, and then it started raining...but something is better than nothing and I brought down the total a few bucks.
I am going to try to focus on Spark today, even though I don't get paid until Tuesday. If I have to, I'll take off after I turn the car in on Monday and go pick up my car when I get paid on Tuesday.
Something is better than nothing....
That is, if my Credit Card doesn't show up Monday.
I'll be "stuck" if I have to wait too long for my car.
Today should be a much better day than yesterday. I have all day to work.
I'm driving a Mazda CX-5. I don't like it. I don't like how it feels, and there is no order to all the bells and whistles, in my opinion. But, I'm thankful to have it for now.
Lord, please help me meet my goals today.
Be with my children and my lists.
Thank You for the windows You have opened.
Help me to forgive as I ask Your forgiveness for my sins.
Lead me, guide me, show me the way.
In Jesus's Holy Name I pray, AMEN!
Psalms Chapter 20
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
(I especially liked verse 7, given my profession)
