Slow Burn

It's dark now.

I came home, took the baby dogs outside. I had to carry Milo down as well as up the stairs so he could do his business. His walking on his back legs are getting worse. When he goes up the stairs, he pulls himself up with his front legs. I just can't bear to watch it, and I don't have the money right now to take him to the vet.

As soon as my money comes in I am taking him AND Otis. Otis is due for a teeth cleaning for his periodontal disease.

I only made $63 today. I have enough money right now, though, to pay for all the bills up until January 8. I have 5 days to come up with another $144 in order to pay my car payment.

The day is not through, though. I am sitting here, as I type this, with my Uber app on, waiting for a ping.

It is the first of the year, and traditionally, business is slow this time of year -- right after the Christmas and New Year's rush. It will start picking up again around Valentine's Day.

I have already eaten Supper. And, I have only had 2 glasses of tea all day: one for breakfast and one for supper.

I went to Walmart this morning to deposit into my bank account so it will be in the green again, after the Health Insurance caused my overdraft and the fee has come out. While I was there, I bought some flavor packets for my water, as well as some Great Value Sweet Tea squirts that are 0 calories. LOL...if I can't get my tea one way, I'll have it another. LOL
