Shoulders
I woke up at 9 AM today. I will be working until midnight tonight. Door Dash will be on after hours, so I will be sure to hop on and stay busy once everything else closes down.
Last night, I made $147.00. It was a good day. Right now, I have enough money in my E-trade account to cover my car rental through Saturday. Everything I make today is going toward bills.
It is supposed to rain today, but I'm going to try to do some Spark when it isn't, to cover my rent some. I only have $200 toward it right now.
All in all, I had a great day, yesterday, except most of the orders I did were low-paying runs, and the ones that weren't made me wait at the pick-up for long periods. But, I was determined to do what God gave me to do, and to practice patience.
I ate at the Mission and Salvation Army yesterday. The Salvation Army gave us all a big sack lunch with 6" Hoagie sandwiches, orange juice, and cookies in them. It was very good and very filling. The Mission fed us Chicken Spaghetti, green beans, cake and bread. It was delicious.
It's amazing how good everything tastes when you are hungry.
And, I am so grateful they are there. It takes some of the fear away.
If I had time, I'd go to the food give-aways at the local churches. But, I have to use all the time I have available to work during those hours.
No matter what my plans are, or what I desire, it is God who decides what I will accomplish in the end. All I can do is walk towards it.
Thank You, Lord, for Your guidance and protection. I ask that You continue to do so. You know my needs. Let my desires be in line with Your Will.
Be with my children and my lists. Let both of their needs be small. Draw them toward You and establish their paths toward You, whatever it takes.
Help me to learn Your ways in my daily walk with You, and let me never forget Your presence with me.
Forgive me for my sins, and help me to forgive others as Jesus has taught.
Lead me, guide me and show me the way. Thank You for the abundance of life I have even now as I struggle.
In Jesus's Holy Name I pray, Amen!
Proverbs 16:9
“A man's heart deviseth his way: but the LORD directeth his steps.”
