Rushing for Money
I left the house this morning and went to my usual hang-out at the Wendy's Exxon on New Boston Road. As I sat there, I got a Lyft ping. I turned all the other apps off and looked at it. It said the ride would take about 45 minutes.
I messaged the guy to tell him I was on my way.
He messaged me back and told me I was picking up a part and taking it to the drop off. I asked who to speak to concerning the part. He gave me all the information.
I went to Rush Truck Center and picked up the part and the receipt, and started my trip. It was a 2 1/2 hour trip, not 45 Minutes. The app lied to me!
I wasn't mad, though, I needed the money. I drove the trip and came home $182 richer. I only used 3/4 tank of gas to and from the destination. I spent a whole $36 on gas for the trip. I'm not mad at all.
I'm blessed.
Then, on the way home, my lawyer called. She said I could come pick up the money in the morning. WooHOO!
Now, I am even MORE blessed!
I am home now, eating left over pork loin and potatoes and cabbage. YUM. It's just as good the second day around!
I'm resting the rest of the day!
Have a blessed night!
