Plans
It is 5 AM on Thursday morning.
Yesterday, I waited for the dealership to call me back about a loaner car until around noon. Then, I took a two-hour nap. I was awakened, finally, and told to go to Avis and pick up my rental.
I took an Uber to the airport, then got into a brand new Chevy Malibu to drive until my car gets fixed -- hopefully before the cut-off day of the free rental, which is 5 days. It was 4:30 when I finally started working.
Right off the bat, I was given two Grub Hub deliveries that paid about $18 total. Then, I did a Spark delivery that was also worth about $18 and waited nearly 45 minutes to load. It was about 8 PM when I finished, so I shut it down and went and got something to eat at Taco Bell, because it was cheap and I didn't want instant mashed potatoes again.
Today, I'm going to do a Spark, hopefully, before I go to New Boston to pick up a check from a lender for $186. Then, after depositing it to my bank, I am going to come home and pay another lender $170 due by tomorrow online, and then I am going to call the Warranty people to make sure my extended warranty is renewed.
I checked the mail yesterday for the first time in two weeks and was alarmed for getting at least 4 notices (one from my dealership) telling me to call the Warranty people to renew my warranty before time runs out. I have until the 17th to do it. If that ain't God, I don't know what is!
And, Praise God my car broke down JUST BEFORE it did!
I can't believe I'm praising God that my car broke down when it did, but I am. It just goes to prove that when things fall apart, they are just faling together in God's eyes.
I got my Spark and my ASAP and my Grub Hub 1099s for taxes. I also received my LiveOps one. My Uber and E-trade is also available online. I imagine my Lyft is too. I'll check on Door Dash as well tonight when I come home. I also have my insurance paperwork for taxes. I need to go through my plastic tote that I throw all my mail into and pick out all my phone bills and internet bills, and my car purchase information for both vehicles. I then need to bind my mileage logs and calculate the total mileage for the year (which won't be hard, thanks to Quickbooks!). Then, I'll be ready to do my taxes.
I doubt I made near as much in 2022 as I did in 2021, due to problems with my vehicle all year.
I'll be going to work after that and working until it is time for me to come home and go to bed again.
Lord, YOU ARE AWESOME! I am so glad to be a part of Your Kingdom! I am looking forward to eternity with You!
Please forgive me for all I do wrong, or misunderstand, or have frustration with. Help me grow my faith even more, because I know in my heart that that is where Your power resides!
Give me the heart and ability to forgive others immediately for their sins against me, Lord. I need Your strength and character to work in my life.
Please let today be profitable both for You and for me, and give me the opportunity to serve you better and more. I know that the abundance of life is in my service to You!
Thank You for opening doors, even as doors seem to shut behind behind me, leaving me to search for windows. I pray that You continue to pave the way before me.
Be with my children and my lists, and let my lists be short.
I pray that I do all according to Your Will, and I know that Your Will is in my best interest.
Please let my car be fixed quickly and be with the hands and minds of the mechanics so that they do an outstanding job on my car.
In Jesus's Holy Name I pray, Amen!
Jeremiah 29:11
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
