Hello, I'm Shonda Ponder. I am a self-employed courier and taxi driver.

I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

I look forward to communicating with you all!

On Time God

I woke up, without the alarm clock since I don't need one anymore, at 8 AM this morning. I will be using the alarm clock to try to keep these hours, though.

I fixed pancake and sausage, but wasn't very hungry, so I only ate half of the pancake and all of the sausage link I fixed.

I guess I am just excited about finally working a full day doing Uber and Lyft again.

A friend picked me up when I went to turn my rental in yesterday, and went with me to get my car. I wanted her to stay with me until I got my car, in case something went wrong. In that event, she could be a witness for me.

As it turned out, though, I paid nearly $175 less than I thought I was going to have to pay, after he spent 30 minutes juggling numbers and being reminded that I had already paid my deductible for the warranty.

I went to eat at Golden Corral to celebrate, after filling my car up with gas, wiping out the inside of my car, and buying some critical hygienic necessities. Then I came home, paid a bill, and went to work.

Yesterday, I made $150. I did 3 Grub Hub Deliveries and 2 Uber pick-ups. My first Uber pick-up tipped me $100 on CashApp.

It was dark after that, and I had gotten up at 7:45 yesterday morning, so I went home and wound down the day after depositing my earnings.

This morning, a medical debt collector called me and I re-set up my payment plan of $25/month to come out of my account on the 10th.

I am looking forward to working a full day today. I have a lot of catching up to do, but praise God my bills are not late yet!

I thank all who helped me with all my heart! Without you, I would still be struggling to get my car.

Lord, You are the God who Hears and Answers Prayers!

There is not a prayer that I have prayed that You have not answered and made good Your promises to me.

Thank You for my car. I pray that it continues to run well, and that You keep me safe as I am driving it. Thank You for my job that You gave me to do. Give me the opportunity to serve You better through it!

Help me to be able to pay my bills on time, and to be able to pay and pay forward all who have helped me through-out this experience.

Let this be a new beginning, Lord, and let both YOU and me be profited!

Give me the abundant life You promised through Your Son, Jesus, and sustain me.

Be with my children and my lists.

Lead me, guide me, show me the way! Help me be a better person, more worthy every day!

And bless all those who helped me, and have mercy and grace on those who did not.

In Jesus's Holy Name I pray, Amen!

1 Timothy 5:18

“For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.”
