Oil and Hushpuppies

Hello, World!


I must have worked hard the past couple of days, because this morning, I didn't want to get up. I was relieved that it is the Sabbath.


My first day back to work was disappointing. I made $100 (goal is $130), after working nearly a full twelve hours.


The good news is that my car is running great! I feel confident I can make a trip to Dallas with no problem. Especially after driving a $200 day yesterday.


That made up for what I didn't make Thursday, and then some.


Mom told me to come out on Saturday (today) for a fish fry at their camp. She made sure to remind me that it is at 3 PM. Then, she called back and said "Bring Hushpuppies."


When I got home last night I called to confirm where they were going to be and said that yes, I'd bring hushpuppies.


Benny (my step dad) called and asked me if I'd already got the hushpuppies yet. I told no, I was waiting until Saturday, before I came. He said, "Do you mind picking up some oil to fry the fish in for me, too?" I said I would.


Then he called back and said, "You don't have to wait until 3 to come."


LOL


I said, "I figured you would want me to come early since I am bringing the oil and the hushpuppies." LOL


I need to wash my clothes, but I still have clothes to wear, so I'll wait and do them on another day.


I binge-watched "Bewitched" while I was waiting for my car to get out of the shop. I have seen every episode now.


Now I am watching Law & Order SVU. I'm on the 2nd season.
