Hello, I'm Shonda Ponder. I am a self-employed courier and taxi driver.

I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

I look forward to communicating with you all!

Mustard Seed

I woke up at 11 AM today.

I have to make $160 today to keep up with my bills. But, at least I am caught up now.

Last night was slower than I expected, and I didn't make goal again (that is becoming a habit). But, it was because I didn't work a full day, due to having to gather all my tax information.

I fear going out of town anytime soon again until I get my car looked at, but I am going to trust God until then.

I have no choice.

Last night, it was so slow that I came home and fixed dinner, with the app still on, waiting for a ping. When I finally ate two bites, I got a ping. I didn't come home for three more trips, back to back after that.

My food was cold when I finally came back home, but I ate it. I finally shut the apps off at 12:30.

I had made enough to pay all my bills that were due up to today.

Without my games on my phone to stay awake for, I went to bed at 3 AM. I stayed up to watch "The Shunning" on PureFlix first. Then, I watched "I Am Not Ashamed" (The story of Rachel Joy Scott, the first victim of the Colombine Shootings).

Her life has touched millions. Her bold proclamations have born fruit, and are still doing so today.

I can only HOPE to be like her.

All she did was say, "I'm going to live for Christ." She was not perfect; but, she put effort into it. Something is always better than nothing. She did her best. That's all God wants from us.

She made a difference.

The truth be known, the Columbine Shooters did a job they did not intend to do when they killed her. They spread the message of Love, Joy, Hope, and Peace through Jesus to millions. If she had not died, many people would not have eternal life today.

THAT is doing what Jesus did.

I now understand why the apostles were so happy to die as martyrs for the cause. If I am ever placed in such a position as to have to choose between my life and my God, then I will choose Jesus.

Lord, Most Holy God,

Thank You for sending Jesus to show us the way. That is love - more than we deserve. Thank You for the few who have followed in His footsteps to bring us the Good News. Let me be a light that shines, showing others the way.

Thank You that my bills are paid.

Please keep me safe and my car in good condition. Give me a way to make it better.

Help me stay caught up. And Help me do Your Work as You Will along the way.

Be with my children and my lists.

In Jesus's Holy Name, I pray, AMEN!

John Chapter 12

24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.

25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

I'll see you in Heaven, Racheal. I can't wait to meet you someday and shake your hand and hug you. But, for now, I still have work to do here.
