More Hope
I woke up at 4:10 this afternoon after going to bed at 7 AM this morning. I needed the rest.
I made chicken salad last night for sandwiches. I have to buy bread today with the cash tip I earned yesterday; but, I had enough to eat a good sandwich today.
I took the bread I had saved from the food distribution out of the freezer, so I won't be buying bread just yet. I'll save my tips for later shopping.
Yesterday, I made my low goal before I came home. I need to make at least $151 today before I come home.
I didn't have the congestion I had yesterday when I woke up, so I am thinking that I was right in my assessment of it being just allergies and the time of year. And, I am doing good health-wise.
Last night, before I came home, I drove a Red Sox baseball player to his destination. I can now add that to my list of distinguishable customers - along with the father of a guy who worked on the set of "The Walking Dead", Machine Gun Kelly's lighting director, and a big wig federal lawyer from Washington, D.C..
I have an interesting job, driving different people around.
And, I have a job to do.
Lord, My God and Savior,
Thank You for giving me what I needed yesterday to keep going, and bring me closer to the goals of staying on time with my bills. I pray for a great day to propel me forward even farther, so that I can get out of this debt bondage I find myself in, due to Satan's attacks. I pray that You will protect me from further attacks.
You know what I can handle and what I can not. You know my needs. I pray for Your continued blessings in that area. Help me to forgive and love as You do!
Be with my children and my lists.
Make me better today than I was yesterday. Lead me, guide me, show me the way. Give me more and better opportunities to serve You!
In Jesus's Holy Name, I pray, Amen!
Psalms Chapter 71
12 O God, be not far from me: O my God, make haste for my help.
14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.
