Hello, I'm Shonda Ponder. I am a self-employed courier and taxi driver.

I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

I look forward to communicating with you all!

I'm So Blessed

I had an AWESOME night last night!

I started work at 4 PM. After doing a couple of runs, I filled my tank up with gas (I spent $27). Then, I was running all night.

I ended up depositing $250 into my account by the end of the night. I made goal, PLUS what I didn't make the night before.

This morning, I had a doctor's appointment at 8 AM. So, I worked until 4 AM, then took an hour nap. I got up and went to see the doctor.

My blood pressure is 146/95. She said it was a little elevated and it concerned her. I explained to her that it was just the fact that I worked until 4 and have only had an hour of sleep. I also told her of the stress I had been going through the past 6 months or so. I told her that now that I have my work back, my stress level should go down, and so should my blood pressure.

She agreed. Then said, "BUT, I want you to come back in 3 months instead of 6 months, so I can monitor it to make sure there isn't something else going on." I agreed.

I also showed her my ulcer, and explained to her that it was healing, but a lot slower than I wanted it to. She said as long as it was healing, she had no concern about that, but that I should keep an eye on it.

Other than that, I am good.

Then, I went and fed some homeless people breakfast.

After that, I went to the bank to make a deposit of all the money I had made over the last week that I had been able to save for bills. ($760). I am still short my rent money and a couple of other small bills, but they aren't due until the 4th.

I uploaded a copy of my car insurance into my Uber app, showing that I am covered for the next 6 months, so they won't deactivate me for not having insurance. My new card was due by the 10th. Glad to get that behind me.

I bought the dogs some treats so they will love me again after being gone from home so long, and being a grouch this morning because I was so tired. They are happy. Otis is guarding his bone and growling at any sign of Milo, and Milo has his own bone and is not concerned with Otis's, but you would think he was crouching and waiting for Otis to look the other way, the way Otis is acting. LOL

Now I'm going to pay my health insurance, then get some rest so I can go back to work and do it again tonight.

I just want to get rent behind me, so I can work on my car payment (due on the 7th).

I'm tired, but SO SO BLESSED.

Hebrews Chapter 6

11 And we desire that every one of you do shew the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
