Heat of the Battle

Yesterday, I went to work thinking I was going to have a great day because I could actually work all day. But, it didn't happen that way.

I went to work and after an hour or so, I realized my Uber wasn't working. I checked my messages and it seems that someone's hairs got crossed at Uber and they had turned me off again. It was a case of the left hand not knowing what the right hand was doing and they were demanding what I had already given then in order for me to work.

I finally proved that the matter had already been resolved from the day before and then they said they restored me. I still got no trip requests. When I did, I got about seven of them in a row that cancelled all from the same address.

My acceptance rate was going up, so I knew it must be working, but finally, about 8 PM (I had been working since 2 PM) I called them to ask them to check things out and to take my PT Cruiser off the app so they would quit asking me to confirm my vehicle and cause them confusion.

I finally started getting trip requests after that.

Today is a new day.

Lord, You are NOT a God of Confusion. That title belongs to someone else, and we both know He is trying to stop me from following YOU. I ask that you thwart all of his attempts to sabotage my life so that I can't do what You have called me to do. Thank You that I am still able to pay my bills, and that I was able to reach the amount I needed to stay caught up. May today be profitable, both for You and for me. In Jesus's Holy Name I pray, Amen.
