God of the Impossible
Today is a rainy day and I woke up at 2 PM. It is also the Sabbath.
Today I will be doing ONLY Uber and Lyft all day.
Yesterday, I made $130. Not NEAR my goal. But, God's Got this. I deposited most of it last night. The rest, I keep on hand for Gas and Food.
I bought $27 worth of gas yesterday from going to Longview the day before. I'm not buying gas.
Every now and then my hill descent light would come on, and I couldn't figure out why my car was feeling funny, but that knew it had something to do with that. And, I couldn't figure out how to turn my hill descent off; and, I couldn't figure out why it kept coming on for no reason.
I knew if I stopped the car and turned it off, it would reset itself and turn itself off - until it turned on by itself again. And then it drove me crazy. I was thinking I was going to have to go see a mechanic to see what I could do about getting it fixed.
I looked online and I was looking to find a way to control it and they kept telling me it was above my console. I didn't have anything above my console. It wasn't there. But no matter what search I did that's what it told me.
I finally found it. And when I found it I figured out why it kept coming on. It was on the side of my gear shift, where I grab it every time I put it in drive.
What idiot thought of putting a hill control button on the gear shift? Of course I was going to push it every time my hands wrapped around the gear shift handle.
I felt like an idiot. LOL
Lord, You are God of the Sabbath and every other day. Today is yours, Lord. I will go out to serve without stress. Be with me as I go, and let the day be profitable for us both.
Thank You for my rest. Be with my kids and my list. Help me forgive and move on, and prevent me from sin.
Thank You for yesterday. Provide for me my food and provision for my dogs. They need food today. It will be the first thing I do when I leave today.
In Jesus Name I pray, Amen!
My Bible verse today is:
Matthew 17:20
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
I don't know how I'm going to make it, but I don't have to know.
