I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

God is in Control

I woke up at 9:30 because I have to take my car to the shop.


Lord, You are the God of Restoration. You have shown that to me over and again.


Forgive me for my shortcomings, Lord. I have many. Help me to forgive others of theirs.


Thank You for answering my prayer yesterday. Thank you that I can celebrate it all today. Thank You for giving me love, joy and purpose.


Be with my sons and draw them closer to You. Above all I ask, I ask that.


Help all those on my prayer list and keep my lists, all of them, small.


Please don't let anything too serious be wrong with my car, or the A/C system in it. Let me quickly get out on the road. Help my day be profitable, both for You and for me.


Let Your will be done.


In Jesus's Name I pray, Amen. I cannot wait to get out there and start Ubering and Lyfting again. Once my car is fixed, I plan to spend a whole day travelling. I'm ready for different.


The first song I heard this morning when I turned on my Pandora was "The Promise." It was a reminder to me from Jesus. All may not be well all the time, but all is as it is supposed to be at any given time. And, since God is in control, I should never fear. God is with me. That is His promise.
