Hello, I'm Shonda Ponder. I am a self-employed courier and taxi driver.

I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

I look forward to communicating with you all!

For the Good

I woke up at 5 PM yesterday, so I didn't get started working until 7 PM last night. I worked a full 12-hour shift, and was only able to make $150 in deposits in my bank account.

That means I still need to make another $540 before the 4th. I don't see it happening, but I know God will provide. Even if I have to be late.

At least I won't be AS late this time.

I'm more concerned about having my car payment by the 7th. Without my car, I won't be able to make rent at all. But, by this time next month, I should be sitting pretty, if I keep up this momentum.

I still made better than I would have done if I had only been doing deliveries. I doubt, if I didn't have Uber and Lyft, I would have even made half that last night if I had been relying solely on deliveries.

I am so happy to have my Uber and Lyft back.

And, Praise God, my "Check Engine" light hasn't come on in over a week.

It was a boring night last night.

I woke up at 4 PM today, because I went to bed a little earlier this morning. Now it is time to get started doing it all again today.

God's got this.

Thank You, Lord, for being the God of Provision and the Weather.

Personally, I've had about enough of the rain in this weather, though. If You think I need more rain, though, I'll continue splashing through it, but Lord, we really could use some sunshine. Rain is really something we don't need an over-abundance of, but You already know that.

Thank You for my work, yesterday. I am asking that You help me make my rent on time - but if it not Your will that I do so, I won't sweat it. After all, I am already planning to be home-free, soon. I just don't want to do it with an eviction on my record. But, Your will, not mine.

Please let today be profitable, both for You and for me, and let all things work together for the good, as Your Word says. You don't lie. I love You, Lord. You know that.

Be with my lists and my children. Lead me, guide me and show me the way.

In Jesus' Holy Name I pray, Amen.

Romans 8:28

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
