Desert Road
On Monday, I borrowed the money I needed to pay my rent and a few bills that were due. Then, I went home and watched "The Chosen" and tried to stay awake in order to rotate my hours.
I woke up at 11 PM and went to work by 1 AM. I worked until 9 AM, then came home and watched "The Chosen" until I was caught up on all the episodes.
Last night was the slowest night ever. I barley made $40. I need $158 in my account on the 8th, because that is when my phone bill is auto-drafted. I have $93 in the account, and $40 on my Uber card - which I don't deposit until it reaches $100. I am also behind on my car payment, which I've arranged to be paid by the 14th.
I had an offer to go pick up someone. When I tapped the I'm on my way button, I was told that the ride was for her grandson who was going to school. I asked her if she was riding with her grandson, otherwise I couldn't take him. She said he rode by himself all the time. I asked her how old her grandson was because if he's under 18 then I will not take him without being accompanied by an adult. She told me to cancel the ride so she could get another Uber driver who would.
Wrong.
I immediately called driver support after I canceled the ride and reported her to safety. They are doing an investigation of the situation. If another Uber driver is picking up an unaccompanied minor they will get deactivated.
If another Uber driver is not following contract rules, they NEED to be deactivated so I can make more money. LOL...JS. Although, that is not the only reason they should be deactivated.
The guy I spoke with at Uber Safety said that, unfortunately, he gets several calls like mine a week. It's sad. But, they will be investigating.
I will be working until I drop today. Again.
But, I feel rested. And, right now, I feel hungry.
Time to go to work.
Lord, You are my God of provision and Health.
Please let this pain on the left side of my back, near my shoulder blade be nothing to worry about.
Please help me to pay my next bills so I can continue to do what I have heard You call me to do.
Be with my lists and my children. Teach me how to access MORE of Your Kingdom, Lord! Give me knowledge and discernment, that I may teach others.
Lead me, guide me, show me the way. Make my day profitable, both for You and for me. Your Will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
