Hello, I'm Shonda Ponder. I am a self-employed courier and taxi driver.

I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

I look forward to communicating with you all!

Confidence

I woke up at 12 PM today. I wasn't trying to. Milo was insistent that it was time for me to get up. It was just as well. I couldn't go back to sleep.

I have a lot to do in the coming months, including writing a presentation.

I look at my finances right now and I think there is no way I can afford to do what God is calling me to do. Once I am home-free, I'll be home-less - for real.

There is a lot that having a home allows you to do, from saving food to storing stuff. I won't be able to do any of that once I am out there; except for what I can put in my storage building.

Anyway, yesterday wasn't a bad day. I only wanted to do Uber and Lyft because it was raining. But, there were so many drivers out I couldn't get any offers. I did one Lyft, then one Uber, and then, after 2 hours, I turned on Door Dash.

Door Dash ran me until about 8:30 pm. Then, I turned Uber and Lyft back on. I did one more Lyft, and then Uber was non-stop for the rest of the night.

I ended up making about $120.

It is raining again today. It is also Sunday, so business might be a little slower on the apps. But, I am going to try for at least a repeat.

And, I am going to pray about my future. I am going to sell my stocks on Monday to try to cover some of my rent. It's all I can do.

Lord, You are the God who provides. When I get out on the road to do what You are calling me to do, I don't know how I am going to make it. But, Jesus did it. And, Jesus said, "Follow Me." I am going out to fish for men, using the bait that You have provided through Jesus.

Lord, You are the God who provides. I don't know how I am going to pay my rent this month, but I know I will - because You provide what I need right now, when I need it, and always on time.

Thank You for what I was able to do yesterday. I ask that today be even better, and that it be profitable both for You and for me.

Forgive me for my insecurities as well as my sins. Give me confidence to do what You have called me to do. You have given me plenty of time to change my mind, Lord. I am using that time to prepare, instead.

Be with my lists and my family, especially my children.

In Jesus's Holy Name I pray, Amen.

Psalms Chapter 27

1 (A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
