While I watch as I have friends who struggle through illness, I am more and more convinced that each of us is being asked to keep the faith, to encourage others to keep the faith, and to endure.
I have seen God, like a tornado, reach down and touch some and heal them, and pass over others who are as faithful and true. There is a reason for all of it, and only God knows His purposes.
Regardless, we all have a story to tell. It may not be about healing or miracles, it may just be that we believe and we choose to act accordingly, even when we don't get what we pray for; for if we do so, we win in the end, no matter what!
This has taught me that my own struggles are of little worth to worry over.
I have Lupus. It has no cure. Treatments are topical and temporary, at best. However, I refuse to let Lupus have me, because I have a God that is bigger than Lupus. I am here for HIS glory. And, in the end, HE will be glorified!
Today, I am cleaning my home and getting it ready for Monday, when I start my training to be a "work at home remote customer service agent" for Direct Response through LiveOps.
Monday, I will also have to work my regular job around my training, because I still have bills to pay. So, I may be out of pocket for about a week...or, rather, more out of pocket than usual.
I am praising God for His guidance, and for His healing touch on some, and lessons He teaches through others. I am thankful for all of it!
Have a blessed day!
