Hello, I'm Shonda Ponder. I am a self-employed courier and taxi driver.

I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

I look forward to communicating with you all!

Being a Helping Hand

I woke up at 10:30 AM. I have decided that me and alarm clocks don't get along too good, so I'm not even going to bother.

Now that I have my Uber and Lyft back, I don't need an alarm, anyway. I really didn't get busy until I got back from DeQueen last night, anyway. I guess all the other drivers went home and left the three of us who stayed on to pick up their slack.

I shut it up at 10 PM and came home, because I kept the app on and just as I would pull into my parking spot at home, I would get a ping. I did four runs like that before I finally told Uber not to send me any new requests at 10 PM.

Today is the Sabbath, so I plan on taking it easy today, somehow. But, I still have to work until I get all my bills caught up and I am a week ahead on my payments.

I ate a Meat Lovers Breakfast Bowl and a cup of fruit this morning (Great Value Brand) to get me started.

I need to go to the Library today and try to print out some of my 1099s for taxes.

Then, I'm going to work. I have until Monday to make $216. It's only Saturday. I think I can do it. I only worked half the day yesterday, and I made a little more than 3/4 of my goal (which is $170/day, to keep up with my 2021 averages).

I am currently buying one share of stock, until I own a share in 50 companies, then I will start reinvesting in those companies, as I see how well (or badly) they are doing, until all of them have at least 100 shares of stock in them, in the "God Account". Then, I will invest in more companies, or reinvest, depending on how well they perform.

I call it "The God Account" because it is my tithes, to be used for charity and emergency purposes only. In just 3 days, it has grown to over $107 to be used for that already. I am not going to withdraw anything for ministerial purposes until it reaches $5,000. At that point, I will know it is time for me to start blessing others with the proceeds.

Since I have the dogs, I can't travel too far. And, I don't want to drain the account for those who would waste what God has given me to work with, so I will be keeping a record of all those I have helped, so I won't be helping the same people every day.

I will go and pick up one homeless person on the street, take them to get a room to stay in temporarily, buy them a change of clothes, get them something to eat, and find out what their immediate needs are and see if I can help them, in anyway, to get off the streets permanently. That is my goal. I will practice discernment as I go, praying for wisdom to do God's Will.

This will give me the opportunity to get to know them as I help them, and show them what Jesus can do for them if they let Him.

Since I can't travel too far, I will stick around close to home. When God wants me to travel, He will give me the ability to do so financially. I will trust that I am where God wants me to be until then.

That is the goal. If anyone wants to help me reach that goal, you can send money to my CASHAPP at $ShondaPonder, and all the money that is in my cashapp will go directly into the God Account from this day forward.

I am not asking for money for anything for myself right now. That is just a suggestion for something you can do IF YOU WANT TO help me grow the account and help someone else in need, and so I can do the work God has called me to do sooner. It is how you can support my ministry. And, it is not tax deductible at this point, because I don't want to answer to the government for anything that God tells me to do with the money.

That is the plan, now you have all the information you need - for those who are confused about what I am doing.

In the meanwhile, I will continue to minister through my work, as I do on a daily basis. Being the eyes and ears of the Lord, and being where God needs me to be His hands and Feet, and getting paid for it as a Courier and Transport Driver.

Lord, You know my heart. You have a plan for me, and for all those I am in contact with on a daily basis.

I ask that You let Your Light shine through me, that You lead me and guide me to where You want me to be, to do what YOU need me to do at any given moment.

I know that nothing happens by accident, and everything in life is meant to be a lesson to learn and an experience to grow on. Help me be better today than I was yesterday, and help me to help others to do the same, and to come to know Jesus for themselves.

Be with my children and my lists.

Teach me to forgive as You do.

In Jesus's Holy Name, I pray, AMEN!

Hebrews Chapter 4

11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
