Hello, I'm Shonda Ponder. I am a self-employed courier and taxi driver.

I am a Christian and a Conservative American and native Texan.

My priority is Jesus. My goals are to win souls, to live abundantly and to pay my bills on time, in that order.

I look forward to communicating with you all!

All things work together

On January 5th, thursday, I woke up at 11:15 a.m.. I called the car dealership to check on my tags, and they still have not arrived. The lady was smirky with me and told me that she has a daughter who drives for Uber and there is no excuse for me not to be able to drive for Uber without my tags.

I told her I don't see how her daughter could do that. Uber requires that I have proof of ownership of the car that I am driving to pick up passengers in. Everything has to be in my name. When I tried to upload paper tags they would not accept it and I even called Uber to see if they would work with me on that. They said there was no way that I could drive unless I was willing to rent a car which I can't do because I don't have the money to do that and pay my bills.

If anybody drives for Uber without uploading the proper documentation then they are doing something that is illegal and against the rules and could get their account to be deactivated for good. I'm not willing to take that chance.

I informed her that if I have to go through getting paper tags a fourth time I will be seeing a lawyer. Legally they are not supposed to renew paper tags more than three times.

I delivered a Walmart order and then I went to eat at Long John Silver's. I hadn't been there in years, and since I was determined to live abundantly this year, I figured it would be a good place to have lunch. I was hungry and it was healthy. Then, I went back to work.

I had about as good a night as I had the night before, and for the same reason.

My check engine light came on after I ate; or, maybe I just then noticed it. I am assuming it had something to do with me getting gas and topping off my tank, because before the night was over, just when I started to worry about it, it went back off.

Praise God!

I forced myself to stay out with the apps on until 10 PM, then I went home. It was so slow that even Door Dash wouldn't let me on the app. I usually worked Door Dash when I was bored with everything else; but, I guess Door Dash was just as boring this night.

When I got home, I had to break it to the dogs that I didn't have any treats for them. I had completely forgotten to stop by the store for a $1 bag of Carryouts for them. I would make it up to them tomorrow.

And, I was also glad that I payed my car payment instead of my rent. There is no way I would be able to come up with the money by the 7th.

Romans 8:28 All things work together for the good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.
