New Day, New Perspective

Good morning, World.

I spent all of last night watching Donald Trump on Youtube. I fell asleep during his North Carolina Speech. This morning, I woke up with an idea in my head that when I decide to travel, I will go straight toward Kansas, then travel the rest of the way up to the top of the states, then travel all the way down through different states until I get back home.

Before I even got out of bed I prayed. I can't even remember what I said. But, I prayed. I know I asked Him to just be with me. He knows my heart.

I went to church today. While they were passing around the offering plate, I could almost hear Jesus tell the rich young ruler to go and sell all that he had and follow Him. Then, I heard Peter say, "Silver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you."

As Brother Matthew preached about running in the house with your socks on, even though you've been told not to and why you shouldn't, I heard the song "Give me Jesus" in my head.

So, I wrote down the message I was receiving as fast as I could so I wouldn't forget it:

"I can give you all I have...OR, I can give you the ONE who gave it to me. Which would you prefer?"

I guess I've been wrestling with all of my recent success, and what I was supposed to do with it...among other things. Did God want me to give all I have to the guy on the street corner? That was the question that I kept asking. And I believe, today, I heard the answer.

As long as I give them Jesus, they will never want for what they truly need. What is more valuable? My money, or my labor for the Lord? I must not forget what my first and most important job is, and who gave it to me.
